I had a flashback that happened at the worst possible time the other night. The worst. When the hell is this going to end?

Why the hell do I have to feel guilty for making people feel uncomfortable because I told them something in confidence, they pretend to understand and then stab us in the back. Now trying to act all nice again, like I've forgotten. And I'm not going to forgive easy and let it slide off my back, because I really don't like that. I don't like how society has become....

A little over seven years ago, the day after the Grammies, I came to the realization that U2 was my favorite all-time band. I discovered Interference and other web sites, read everything I could get my hands on about Our Guys, embarked on a spending spree on eBay for magazines and books and of course, listened obsessively to their music. All this fan passion led me to attend 6 shows in 2004-5, including that Brooklyn Bridge show...and ultimately, waiting outside to try to meet them at MSG. I shook...

In exactly 4 weeks, I am off to Honolulu. Can't WAIT. Staying for 12 days, hoping to get sun, sleep, and snorkel a little and hike a little and just relax a lot.

Re the mole of evil: I have an appointment with somebody in Toronto (since I'm moving back there) next Monday, the 8th, so hopefully she will be able to put me in touch with a good surgeon then. Fingers crossed!

I also have to find a condo in TO else I'll be homeless come August 1.

That still doesn't explain this.

Was walking across Santa Monica Blvd looking at the bus times back to Downtown LA and a No. 10 bus hit me in the back of the head with it's right mirror.

Luckily it wasn't going to fast, and I was wearing a hat.
Crazy moment.

Final class of level 3 tonight: I went upside down on the pole I did it last weekend at a practice session, but it was with the help of an instructor. I managed to get up there about half a dozen times on my own tonight I kept at it and kept at it until suddenly my right ankle caught the pole and hooked on. I freaked out and squealed a girly squeal as I managed to get my left ankle up and around the other side and then slooooowly slid down....

Even though I didn't get home until this morning....I had a wonderful time yesterday.

My father and I wander around downtown Chicago mainly because we wanted to kill some time before the movie started at 7:30pm.

We basically went to the Tribune tower to look at the rest of the items that was embedded into the building and the Daley Plaza/Thompson Center area.

Now the movie was FANTASTIC!!!! UP is a really funny, tender and sweet movie. All the reviews...

For real, she is out of her mind sometimes. I'm taking her to the vet on Tues and if they can't help her they will refer us elsewhere. Poor dog!

And I'm not sure how to feel about it


I guess I'm pretty lucky to get to 43 yrs old without needing eyeglasses for anything else, though.

At first I was in denial, pushing the book further away, then bringing it closer, to get the right focus. Kinda felt like Grover from Sesame Street.....Near.......Far.......Near.......Far....


Its nice to be able to read a book in bed again.
Even nicer that I only needed the 1.0 and got...

The new Church album that is -- the one where they thank me (and a bunch of other people) in the credits. Yep, that album.

The review's actually not bad (a 7.0 score)...this guy is one of the few who likes ULTC better (I quite like ULTC myself, but the lack of a PK-sung song on the new one really helps it in my view. I always skip the songs PK sings ). I agree that Deadman's Hand would have been a better single, but for bands such as the Church singles don't mean...

It's worse in person (or was), but believe it or not, I got that from spending the majority of 2 days in the SHADE. Seriously.

Stayed at a friend's cabin on a beautiful Texas lake. The weather could not have been more...

I had to have a biopsy done last week on a suspicious mole. Today I had the stitches removed and got the pathology report.

The good news is that it's not malignant. The bad news is that it's the sort of mole that will likely become malignant so as a result I will now have to have a chunk of my thigh removed...roughly the size of a Canadian dollar coin. I am hoping to get it done in July since my contract begins on August 10 and I have a lot of vacation time before that.

Is this as amazing as everyone says it is? Jillian freaks me out a bit and annoys me slightly, but I think the workout would be awesome, and help kick my ass back into gear. I haven't totally decided if I should buy it yet or not.



Oh yeah - I'm doing a 10k run on Sunday, then my next event is a 1 mile swim at the end of July. I'm not ready for this run. At all.

I just learned from my mom that my little brother was swarmed and beat up by a group of 6 punk ass bitches not far from his school. They roughed him up pretty well, punched him repeatedly in the head and broke his nose. He was covered in blood and shaken up, but he's going to be ok.

He's also 17 now and not really my baby brother anymore, but I changed his diapers, damnit. So yeah, he's still my baby brother.

I want to fly home and sort them out. All 6 of them,...

Well, I've managed to snag myself a head cold so I've been dealing with that today. Amongst other things, things that I think I'm doing better with and then they are back in my face again screaming "YOU THINK YOU'RE DONE DEALING WITH THIS... WELL I DON'T THINK SO" I'm seeing faces again and images. If only I could simply forget.
