Ok, that was weird....I logged on the blue crack and I got a different opening page...U2 stuff.....but it said "Revolution".

A live Rolling Stones album once started something like that, but it fits. The tour is starting tomorrow (my EST time); it's already June 30th in Europe and parts east.

I'm finally excited about this tour. The logistics of it are somewhat difficult for me this time around...I'll probably stay at a hotel near Giants Stadium or in Manhattan that night, as the idea of traveling from Jersey to Long Island after the show really doesn't appeal to me at all. It will be an expensive night....

I guess I'm the only calm one out of everyone here.

Probably because I try not to get too spoiled by the reheresals. But I'm not sure if I want to be a part of the setlist party or not tomorrow...I guess time will tell

Other than the monotoned tour admission....I'm doing fine otherwise

My little sister from Big Brothers, Big Sisters sent me an invitation to her high school graduation party! I'm so proud of her. Obviously, she's old enough that we aren't matched through the program anymore, but she'll always be my little sister. I can't wait to go to her party, as we haven't seen each other in over four years. We coincidentally both moved away from where we lived at around the same time, which was a bit of a relief, as I had felt so bad about leaving her. We have kept in touch...

I did two things I'd been meaning to do for a while, but just hadn't got around to.

I purged myself of this poisonous game. Again. We're all human beings living with pain, sometimes simmering below the surface, threatening to boil over at any time. That doesn't give you the right to use and discard people, leaving them in your wake, off to the next one who will distract you from your own. I made my mistake of letting you back in. I paid for it. I'm done.

Because I have nothing better to do during my layover in San Fran than play around with my MacBook....

I flew from Toronto to San Fran, and then am waiting to fly on over to Honolulu. The flight from Toronto was irritating as fuck, since they had me move from my seat (which I chose by the way) no less than THREE times.

First, because a guy wanted to sit with his wife, so they asked if I would mind switching seats with him. They can't be apart for 5 hours? OK, fine,...

I believe my high school boyfriend truly had a soundtrack to his life. Any major moment, happy occurrence, favorite memory was accompanied by a song, and hearing said song would instantly transport him back to that time and place.

For me, songs aren't necessarily tied to a specific moment, but instead a series of moments or a time in my life.

Pearl Jam's "Black" just came on the radio and sent me back to high school. I was best friends with my brother's on-again/off-again...

I don't drink much of the stuff, and when I do it's usually pretty lightweight--a green tea with honey, maybe a Thai tea with milk. If I go for a Kona iced coffee, that's really pushing it.

But lately, I've been really struggling to stay awake in my afternoon summer school class. (It got so bad a few times, that I went to the bathroom and grabbede a micronap during the break). What makes it worse is I'm the teacher. It's been busy--we are...

I'm trying not to be completely about having to spend yet ANOTHER $1,500 on my car, but man, it's killin me. I'm definitely on the downward slide toward getting a new car. When my car(s) starts to nickel-and-dime me to death, I'd rather get something new that will hold together for a few years...though gotta give props to Honda, my car's nearly 15 years old, and still doing pretty well, considering! If Civic hybrids weren't so butt ugly, I might get one of those, but right...

I have a staph infection on my head again. Gross! I *hate* taking the antibiotics, they make me feel really yuck. Also, we're going to visit Phil's grandma in a nursing home this weekend, so now I'll have to be uber careful not to touch her or anything lest I infect them all, being already very old and frail and sick.

So I finally picked up two of my greatest hobbies again, already for a while now: singing and dancing!!

Joined a choir which sings popmusic about 2 months ago. At the right time, too, as there's this big concert we're giving in a theatre in November! I'm singing the alto parts. The people who are also in the choir are so sweet and crazy, in a good way Really love it there

At the same time, I took a free lesson of Zumba, and after it I was sold It's...

Sometimes if you're a member of this profession, you just have to have a sense of humor about these types...
