my sister is studying in oxford and was just there two days ago and so was my best friend.....scary stuff. i watched the news today and again cannot get over it. it is becoming the norm now.....

I am in Santiago, Chile now. Arrived yesterday from Mendoza, Argentina. Think I am going to hang around this general area for a week and skip the NW of Argentina.....I need some stuff to have a reason to go back! Will go to Valpariso, Vina del Mar, and tomorrow I am going skiing. Was...

i have 2.5 weeks left to travel after my program ends next friday. i think i am going to head by bus to santiago chile, stopping in argentina´s wine country, mendoza along the way. then i thought i would head further north into chile a bit and come back into argentina further north, go to paraguay for a day or two mostly to say i have been, then head into uruguay at the end before coming back to buenos aires to fly back to the states. but now i am thinking about going to easter island....the ruins...

potentially the funniest story of all the travelling i have done. so i
have been wanting to get a brazillian wax for some time now but it is super expensive in the states. so when i got here i figured i would get it here in argentina. so i finally went on monday with 2 friends, one of whom was getting the same, also for the first time, and another friend was just getting a regular bikini wax. so we go to this random place that we just see on the street, and we are feeling very intimidated....

well i have been here over a week now....and......ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Classes are just so so but that is fine with me bc i am more here to soak it all in! The weather is overall good. It has rained a bit but 60´s is perfect......everything is so cheap. Not as cheap as Africa but still very cheap. Internet is 40 cents an hour....a cab is no more than 2 dollars, clothing and food cheap. Last night i had dinner in one of the nicest restaurants in the city, 4...

well no punctuation or capitalization b-c i forgot about spanish keyboard and it´s quicker to not even try.

i arrived yesterday morning and everything went smoothly but i was exhausted naturally. i am staying with an older couple who do not speak a word of english and are doting on me right and left though i keep telling them they do not need to. the food is wonderful they keep wanting to feed me. i am going to have to be careful or i will come back huge. today they drove me around...

Well tomorrow is the big day. Like I've mentioned before, I'm headed to Argentina (Buenos Aires) for 2 months.....studying mixed in with culture/fun/travelling.

I am excited and can't believe it's finally almost here. I haven't had much time to prepare and think about it since things have been so crazy recently.

I am just now packing and having a damn hard time b/c it's winter down there (yay for my first time to the S. hemisphere!)......but not too cold now,...

wedding is on Sat. and I'll fly home Sunday.

NJ was incredible. Incredible. I am so happy I went. It went nearly perfectly.

I hope it stays intact for both Tues. and Wed. and isn't too much of a pain in the ass. Plus I want it in good shape for the Nov. shows too


whoooooooooooooooo the madness begins tomorrow night....

with my first year of law school! I made it!!!

The last 2 1/2 weeks have been insane and I was on the verge of losing it but now it's over and SUMMER is here!!!!!!!!!!

Starting tomorrow the next week and a half is going be crazy but oh so worth it. Won't have internet access while in Portland prob. so take care folks

I cannot wait!!!!!!!!! I am so glad I made the decision to go. I know I would have regretted if I had decided not to because that would be the more responsible (and cheaper) thing to do. But I have been so looking forward to seeing them sometime on the first leg and then after winning the contest, which was such a huge deal, it really would be a shame to not go.

In other news,...

Ok, what the hell. I NEED to see U2. Cannot wait until Nov. Just purchased a ticket......I am going to be soooooooooo tired just from the flying aspect; I can't sleep on planes. Not to mentioned the GA line/experience two nights in a row. But hopefully it'll allllllllll be worth it.

Stereophonics = awesome; the energy was amazing!!! And b/c I wasn't smart enough to think of earplugs, I still do not have all of my hearing back. Like Iris said, definitely the loudest concert ever!(because things had been bad before and because I am that lame, a personal highlight was the badass guitar player looking at me, and then, just when I thought I was imagining the whole thing, making a funny face and winking......hopefully good luck for personal contact with Bono!?! )
