I have a dilemma. I have a mom. She likes to control everything. I also have a wife. She actually at times will describe herself as a control freak.

I am sitting outside the room where I have my exit interview for student teaching. I don't think I have any reason to be nervous, but I am. Things went well. My cooperating teacher filled out a final evaluation of me and it was all positive. But this lady I'm meeting with is hard to read. And I've seen her chew out some of my friends in education b/c of something.

Of course I have things I need to get better at.; I always will. But I just am scared she's going...

It's spring break for many school around here, which means Lies parent and friend go down south...Florida, Alabama, doesn't matter. It's warmer than Michigan.

I just wanted to update all y'all on what's going on here.



I woke up this morning and was 2 pounds away from having lost 40lbs. So, 38 pounds less than Jan. 1st. Then, I ate lots of ham and potatoes and chocolate so we'll see about tomorrow morning.

My goal for this week will be to lose those 2 pounds to make it an official 40 lbs. Then I will work hard for two weeks on losing 10 more to get down to 238. It's a lofty goal for real...but if...

It may just be me...but it seems like the kids on my college's campus have a bit more time than I do.

For example, I'm noticing lots of snow "creations" around when i work. There's an igloo behind a dorm, lots of snowmen...and one with a face carved out so it looks like he has a beards and a rather large nose...and some other stuff.

I need to buy a spare tire anyway so even if the tire is just flat and not like punctured beyond repair, I'm going to buy a tire. However, tires for those vehicles are not cheap...for me...so I come to you asking a question.
