1st part of trip and some rambling nonsense

Cat followed me home from work so I could drop my car off and pick up my bag. On the way to the airport I realized I didn't have gloves. She offered me her nice leather ones. I asked her where she wanted me to lose them, or if she thought I could manage to lose each one in different cities. She laughed nervously and then hastily jammed them in the side pocket of her door and said "yeah, good point, I forgot who I was talking to....

My best friend and I have confirmed we are going to NYC for St. Patricks Day. We had kicked it around and then this weekend she went to a wedding in Pearl River that was all Irish people. She called me from there last night to have me talk to random strangers that were over from Ireland. Her Aunt has invited us to stay as they apparently have some huge parade on the Sunday and lots of parties etc. So far the plan looks like Fri & Sat in the city, then Sunday - Tues in Pearl River....

my aunt and uncle got here yesterday from dublin and are staying with me for two weeks. I don't think i'm gonna survive.
