I was really considering shaving it off and going down to 1 or 2 on the clippers all over, but........ I cannot let go just yet. I was all prepared - motivation from several bad hair days, hair in the way when I study, hair getting tangled....

I don't like maintaining long hair, but I guess that is part of the deal. As uncompromising as I like to be, my "sexy" hair seems to be something I'm not ready to let go of yet.

Hopefully the pettiness is over... this appplies to a lot of things in my life, but also here. The reason I've unlocked my journal is because this is something I want to remember.

I'll write more over time, but I really don't want to dwell here because I have things to do. IN short, though, I've had a lot of different forms of motivation come together in the last week, and something is turning inside me - it's a moment where, if I strike while the iron is hot and put forth some effort,...

There's has been an aweful lot of bullshit entries about things that don't matter. I'm going through and cleaning that up. I accept responsibiltiy for that, though.

I think I will have to be more selective about what I do post here, and also what I keep public and private - no, for the record, I am not keeping all those dramatic, argumentative entries private for my own enjoyment, those are the first to go.

In retrospect, the generation of those entries is rather foolish....
