As I started to fall asleep last night something dawned on me. Tonight will be the last night that I sleep in my room. After this point I will be staying in hotels and Mike's parent's house as we travel to our new home together in Illinois. Really excited about this but another part of me is really sad too. Feel like I am leaving an old friend behind Will return next month for an early Thanksgiving since my oldest brother will be home too. However it will feel very strange. This time around...

Mike received the call today that we have been approved for the apartment! Next Friday night he's going to fly here and pick me and my belongings up. Plan on driving from Delaware to Illinois which should be quite interesting! At this point I really don't care about the drive since Im FINALLY going to live with my sweetie! Ahhhhhhh this all feels so unreal!

After looking for a place to live for a little over 2 years now we may have finally found something! Yesterday Mike went to look into an apartment that he had come across. It's a 2 bedroom in a decent area and allows pets so I can keep my puppy Peanut. At this point noone else has not put in for the place we want. So tomorrow Mike is going to drop off his application and put a deposit down. Will take about 1-3 days to process it along with doing a credit check and criminal background. Im not wanted...

So last night I was all excited about my big weekend next month. First time seeing UF and meeting some other Interferencers. Then I found out some VERY surprising news. My bf's youngest brother is getting married that same weekend. Naturally it meant that I had to cancel plans with a really great friend . Thankfully she's a total sweetheart and understands. With my hopes dashed of going to TO for Into the heart another travel opportunity came my way. Im going to go and see UF in NYC next month! Quite excited about this since I keep hearing just how incredible they are. Will also have the opportunity to hang out with Cari (Cruzila) for the weekend . Saturday I noticed that my cat ChurchHill wasn't acting right. He was making attempts to eat and drink but most of the time he would just lay there. Occassionally he would holler out then become silent again. As the day wore on he seemed to be improving though. Whenever I would rub his head he would start purring and lift his head up. Really though that whatever it was that he had was going away.

I made the discovery this weekend that friends and laughter truly are some of the best therapy! This past Saturday marked 3 weeks since my dad passed. The weeks have been very long and stressful at times. Then I received the opportunity to go on a road trip to Alexandria,VA with fellow Interferencer Cruzila. While there we met up with fellow Interferencers Mia and Patti for dinner in Old Town. Felt so great to see them again after so long! Received some very thoughtful gifts from Mia to celebrate...

I wanted to say a special thank to you everyone who expressed their condolences. Was quite overwhelming to receive such an out pour of love from so many that I have never met. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. My family says thank you too as I have been informing them about the messages that were left.

My dad's wish of having a fireman's funeral was granted and it was a very beautiful service. So many turned out in support and love of my dad. Was a very heartbreaking time but...

I lost my dad this afternoon at about 1:30pm. Was with him when he passed. Thankfully he went peacefully which I will always be grateful for. I can't believe he's gone

To all of you lovely nurses who are working my father I have something I would love to say. Each and everyone of you can go screw yourselves!!!!! Your piss poor attitudes and treatment of both my father and my family have gone way too far. If it is too much to see to a patient's needs than go find a new profession! The lack of showing up in his room when he needs help has not gone unnoticed. Nor has the fact that you have put him in the center of the room like he is on display. Here's a very novel...

I come back from my trip to Chicago bearing lots of pictures! Had an absolute blast while I was out there. Truly is my favorite city to be in Beautiful architecture,great places to shop and so many sites to see! Doesn't hurt either that there is a certain guy out there to share all of this with Or a really great friend from this site that I got to meet for the first time in person .

Upon receiving a very touching message from a very special person this morning a thought occurred to me. I truly am blessed wtih the life that I have. Despite that they drive me up the wall and back sometimes I really do have a wonderful family. Was fortunate enough to have a lot of siblings while growing up. At times it seemed like a curse,lol,but they have provided me with a lot of great memories. Now that they are older they have given me the wonderful gift of nieces and nephews. Nothing like...

I set the goal for myself and after much hard work and sacrifice I have achieved it. As of this morning I have lost 90 lbs! Feel I should be pinching myself right now to make sure that Im not dreaming,lol. My new goal is to now lose the remaining pounds to break the 200 mark and to reach a total loss of a 100. Will not stop there though I will continue until I have reached my desire size .
