I swear this has got to be the worst cold that I have ever had. Started coming down with a sore throat on Monday night. By Tuesday morning the congestion had set in and swallowing became a chore. This year's Easter will be one of the most special ones. My father is able to be home for the holiday which is really great. Though noone has really voiced it we know this will be his last Easter. Found out something rather shocking today. My friend and her mother shaved their heads. This was in support though of an aunt who is about to begin chemotherapy. However the shocking part is not that they did it. What is shocking is that my friend also shaved her 5 year old daughter's hair too Said that her daughter asked her to do it after seeing what the others had done. It's a very weird feeling with continuing about with life as normal while my father's health declines more. Yes I have asked for friend's to help keep things normal. I just received the dvd in the mail today and it was GREAT! Wish though that the opening to COBL hadn't been cut off. Still it was nice to be able to just sit back,relax and enjoy the concert. Don't get me wrong being there is an experience I wouldn't trade anything for! However not having my feet killing me and being tired from waiting all day was absolutely priceless

Today mark's the 1 year anniversary of my grandfather's sudden death. Really hard to believe that it's been that long already. Still vividly remember the phone call from my brother stating that our grandfather had passed. Even recall the song I was listening to when my shock eventually wore off and I gave into my tears. Though he was never close to any of his grandchildren we still miss him everyday.

To my great pleasure this morning I realized I only have 18 more lbs to lose in order to break the 200 mark! Honestly I can't even remember the last time that my weight started with a 1. Know it will be a very emotional time for me when this actually happens. Once I reach this point than I will enter the final stretch to reach my ultimate weight goal.

Much to my horror I have discovered that my room has become a haven for mice. Just a few months ago I found one dead in one of my sneakers in my closet. From the stiffness and smell of it it the damn thing had been there for awhile . Thankfully the sneaker that it curled up and died on is not one that I wear very often! In fact after that discovery I have not worn them at all.

Just in a matter of hours I will be leaving for the airport to head off to Chicago to be with my sweetie. So right now I am feeling so giddy and hyper that Im finding it VERY hard to stay still! .
