I LOVE it!

Last night we went and picked up our new car. This is the first time that I ever had a new car so excited!

Here it is a 2009 Mazda 3 Touring Even has a moon roof!

Due to finally having dental insurance I was able to schedule a date to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed. Went today for the consultation and I have to say I really like the surgeon. Has a pretty good sense of humor so that helped to put me at ease. Really liked him until he started describing what Im in store for lol. It's really no wonder nobody ever wants to have this done! Hell if this weren't necessary I wouldn't be even considering it lol.

The Philadelphia Phillies are the 2008 World Series Champions!!!! Wow what a way to end one hell of a season!

After much nervousness and anticipation the Philadelphia Phillies are the 2008 National League champions!!!! This is by far one of the happiest moments of my life! Have complete faith that they will take the world series this year! It's time to heal the heartbreak of the 93 series.

Hard to believe but June 23rd marks a year already since my dad's passing. Can remember all of the events that day quite clearly. The call from the doctor that morning saying that she felt the time was coming. This followed by a call from my youngest sister later that day to hurry and get to the hospital. Never will I forget watching him take his last breath. While it was very hard to bear I am happy that I could be with him for his final moments. How I wish he was still here today...

Yesterday we met with a travel agent to set up a cruise for our honeymoon in September. Decided officially on a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas through Royal Caribbean The price for the cruise and taxes was a lot better then what we were expecting too. For the two of us it was $797.44! Even chose a cabin with an ocean view that has a picture window . Our stops will be Nassua,CocoCay and Key West before coming back to Miami.

Depart on September 8th can't wait!

I swear I must be cursed when it comes to air travel. Since this past November whenever I fly there is ALWAYS a delay with my flight! Not talking by just a few minutes we are talking at least an hour or more. The last time on American it was a cancellation then the flight we grabbed the next day was delayed. As of 4pm yesterday afternoon Mike and I became first time homeowners! Closing wasn't even as painful as we were expecting it to be. Well seeing such a good chunk of our savings going away hurt but it's an investment lol. Right after it became official we headed right to our house. Felt so good to walk through by ourselves. Each time we visited the house before our realtors were with us. Now we can come and go as we please because it's OURS! . The previous owners even left a very sweet...

One of my nephews is spending his spring break with us so we took him to his 1st Bulls game last night. This was the 1st one for me too. While I enjoy playing basketball I find it a bit boring to watch. Have to confess though it was an absolute blast last night! Definitely much different then just watching a game on tv. There was so much excitement in the air! When they announced the Bulls the United Center just went crazy! At one point they even played the opening part to Streets to get the crowd...

Never thought I would see the day where I would spend this much just for a toothbrush. Had to go to the dentist this morning to get a special cleaning to help my gums. After the cleaning the hygenist gave me a prescription rinse along with some instructions. Next thing I know Im being handed a box that contains an Oral B Triumph 9400 toothbrush. I just received a call from a really good friend of mine that my aunt Thelma passed away this morning. This was my one of myd dad's older sisters. She has been battling cancer for some time now. Since Thelma was a member of the same church that Aric and his family attended they knew my aunt. Aric's mom happened to be in the church office when the call came in. After only having started our search a short time ago we have found the townhome that we want! Went to look at it on Sunday and fell in love right away This is about the 5th house that we have looked at. Had features that we wanted along with a few extra bonuses. Mia came to Chicago this weekend for a visit. Was so great seeing her again. Managed to keep ourselves out of too much trouble this time around Went shopping yesterday with Diana (U2Girl416) and then just hung out last night. Unfortunately the weekend went by too fast .
