...apparently

Ireland won the 6 Nations (rugby) First time we have won the Grand Slam in 61 years...first time i've seen Ireland win anything ever. I'm still so emotional about it all...best thing EVER!!

...and I have.

I mean I make my own bread, biscuits. I cook proper meals for myself (make soups etc). I've taken up running at 6am in the morning, i've started doing essays earlier...quite simple stuff but not things I would have done before I came to Manchester, so that's all good.

I'm not entirely sure how to phrase this though. At times i'm an incredibly social animal, but around girls I like I bomb, well most of the time. Relationships elude me like rain...

Yes I am, tis in the oven as we speak...so far I have also made oat and cherry biscuit cakes, some with almonds as well. They worked out quite nicely so I hope my bread works out too.

Wish me luck folks...and it's all so I can impress certain people on a picnic tomorrow

I need to vent for being an eejit of the highest order...I'm not the smoothest guy in the world and I think i'm in love with the internal melodrama that I can create for myself. Lo and behold this is about a girl I like, but I won't go into it I blog way too much about the female of the species as it is, just let it be known I am a duh duh head

You know I think my life is pretty great

I do write the odd bit of poetry every now and then and my writing process usually involves me just writing one long ass jumbled piece of words flung together. I then take sections of it and try and turn them into individual coherent poems.

Occasionally I like the way the initial ramble turns out, and even though it is a ramble, in my own mind it makes sense to me. I'm going to post my current disjointed affair and over the next few weeks post what I come up with poetry wise. But...

I made a really kick ass cheesy mushroom risotto...never made it before and I didn't fully follow the recipe, but it worked out great...woop!

Twas a fun night...my friend's birthday, went out for Sushi in a place called Samsi in town. Really, really good. Then went to Odder a really cool wee bar in town, then off to a club. Then around 3 or whatever we went back to the birthday girl's house and had some of her home made rose hip wine.

I am also officially better than Bono on harmonica as well, as I managed to play happy birthday to my friend on it She was well impressed I think:P

You know for the most part i'm a very jovial, outgoing, friendly kind of guy. I was told today apparently everybody knows who I am in class But that's probably more to do with being only like 17 guys in a class of 200. Anyway I go along I'm being quintessentially me which is usually some form of silliness of quirkiness, I can be grand...but then I get hit by a malaise of sorts, which...

Had a very interesting lecture yesterday in our Human Development module on transgender issues. As nurses we are getting taught about different cultures and groups of people in order to better treat them.

To be honest I've never had much understanding of the transgender community and how it has it's own subsets and so on. The person giving us the lecture was a very sweet trans-woman, providing us with a lot of insight into her life and the issues surrounding being whatever type...
