Today we start level 3 pole-dancing I've now mastered two of the harder moves, the Corkscrew/Tuck spin and the Diamond/Carousel spin. The best youtube examples I could find:

Today is my grandmother's 93rd birthday. She still lives on her own, she still goes out goes out and gets her hair did, AND she still cooks and entertains. She escaped Czechoslovakia during the war by sneaking across the border, which landed her in jail for a short time, and eventually started a new life in Canada with her husband. I just completed level 1 pole-dancing and am already signed up for level 2, starting in a couple of weeks. It's been such a blast! You have to do with with a girlfriend or two and make a day of it.

I feel so much stronger now. I thought I was fit - I live a very active lifestyle - but noooooo I walk to and from work every day, walk my dog, strength-train 3 nights a week, and essentially workout 8 hours a day, 5 days a week doing my job....
