As my friends and I were browsing this one shoppe in New Hope, PA over the weekend, the store employee/owner was gracious enough to point out that i had a price tag on my head.

the wooden floors in my apartment had buckled and maintenance people were called in. i was told that they were notified of my issue but was never informed by my landlord the day/days they were entering my apartment.

day one, a whole handful or 2 of quarters were missing. i keep a jar for laundry in my livingroom.

day two, a stack of CDs were missing. i don't catalogue my cds so i have NO idea what one's are gone.

Embarrassing moment of the day:

I had 2 MSN IM windows open. One to this gal sue and the other to my boss. I was telling sue that when you’re having a bad day, when all else fails, sing show tunes...

Then I sent an IM to my boss asking if she wants to meet regarding putting together an agenda for our meeting tomorrow.

I SWORE I went back to Sue’s IM and I said "I have Broadway tunes on my ipod if you want, I’ll share an ear bud"...

i live in an apartment and i have the opportunity to sublease to someone i know until the end of the year. this would save me a great deal of money for a few months. there is nothing in my lease agreement saying i cannot sublease.

just curious. if you've subleased, have you had an ok experience??

Why is that every time you go to the grocery store and you opt to be checked out by an employee, they insist on putting all the heavy objects in one bag as opposed to evening out the weight?

bag 1: bunch of 5 bananas, package of turkey meatballs, some crab meat and 20oz Sprite
bag 2: bag of pasta and a box of band aids

i can kind of understand the grouping of items, but isn't it better to distribute the weight so you don't walk out of there lopsided?
