In my last blog I talked about seeing my grandparents for the first time in a very long while. Well today I learned some surprising things when spending the afternoon with my mom, sister and nephew. Funny little story:

I was talking to my sister tonight and my nephew was in the room. Apparently he always smiles and gets excited when he hears my voice on the phone. So, a half hour later I get a call from my sister’s phone but no one is there. I start saying hello. Still no one is there. After about ten to fifteen seconds of this my sister says “um…hello?” It seems her cell phone was open and my nephew was playing with it. Even though he is only a couple months old,...

I changed my avatar tonight for the first time in ages. I guess Georgia's going on vacation. What's the world coming to?! I also played around with the blog colour schemes. The night owl in me really comes through with the black background and purple. Hopefully it isn't too bad on everyone's eyes... Boredom can be both a beautiful and very bad thing.

It seems like only yesterday that my nephew was born and now he is very close to crawling, which is a huge step before walking. He is also getting really big. He is so heavy, maybe heavier than my cat and my cat is quite large. It is almost like he is a real person now! Soon he’ll be walking, then talking and reading. He has made me see how fast time goes by more than anyone or anything. Next thing I know he’ll be walking around, reading the morning paper and discussing news of the day...
