it was bad enough that today was Ryan's birthday. i didn't sleep at all last night just thinking about him, the tragedy, and the others who died.

then this afternoon i got a phone call and found out a friend had committed suicide.

2008 was supposed to be better than 2007. what the fuck?

this whole moving thing really has me stressed. because i apparently wasn't quite overwhelmed before the moving time arrived. i guess my threshold is not quite what i thought it was. anyway, it's tough picking up and moving from a state i've lived in most of my life. plus, i'm doing it on my own. i'm not the most organized person in the world, and trying to keep things managed in my head is a nearly impossible task in itself.

on top of that i've been trying to say goodbye to...

it used to be that the alcohol would put me to sleep for the past couple of weeks. this weekend it hasn't worked out too well, despite how much i drink. i'm really starting to miss sleeping. and i miss him.

I'm glad for the wonderful people who are still in my life.

So, for the first time in my life, I'm not having hay fever issues! Every year I get crazy. I used to get hives when I was a kid. At first I thought that perhaps it was because the new development I moved into has no trees, but my work is surrounded by them. Even when I went to visit my parents last week I didn't feel ill! It's like they just went away!

The only health changes I've made this year are that I'm now eating balanced and healthy meals and receiving regular chiropractic...

Seriously!! What the hell. Now sangria is banned from bars. they said there is some sort of law where they cant mix wine with brandy or something. soooo stupdi! what's wrong with that? i just had a sandgria at a bra a few motnhs ago and now it is banned. i can't wait to meove to ny. i had to drink margararatais all night which wasnt bad but i really wanted dsome sangria. stupid va.

i handed in my resignation today. it felt gooooood. i kinda picked a shitty time to do it, from the office's perspective: my boss is out for the week, the dept chair is out for the week beginning tomorrow. so, yeah, hiring is gonna suck. i said i'd gladly help out in any way possible.

i got my boss to cave and stop being a bitch (she called me so i told her). she told me she was proud of me, but hates to see me go. my fav part of the conversation was when she asked if there...

the nights and mornings suck and i think they will for awhile. but not once all week did i feel unloved.

why does it suck? i had to have Bailey put down just hours ago. 2 weeks ago he was prancing around wearing the beads my friends put on him. today he could barely breathe, eat, or stand. now he's gone. i miss my baby so much.
