Earthquake!!!

Irving, Texas (a suburb of Dallas - where the Cowboys play) experienced a little jolt last night and this afternoon.
They said it registered 3.0.
Now I know that's nothing to you Cali folks, but these things only happen around here like once every 20 years or so.
Anyway, there's a huge fault line out there. You can really feel it while driving over I-635 and Hwy 114 going towards DFW airport from Dallas. The roads are so bumpy you think that you lost your shocks on your car. The ground moves so much so fast out there that it's hard for them to keep the roads nice and smooth.
So yeah, that was the big news here in Big D today. I didn't feel it since I'm about 60 miles from Irving.

i heard about it last night when rono and i were watching the dallas stars on tv at 2am. i also read somewhere that there were actually 2 quakes, one in dallas 2 point something before the irving one. i also read that there was one in oklahoma on thursday. hmm...
but yeah i remember a few years back there was one that could supposedly be felt in dallas too, but i never felt it. too much traffic, big trucks, etc...Posted 11-01-2008 at 07:12 AM by ABEL
