A Special Thank You

I wanted to say a special thank to you everyone who expressed their condolences. Was quite overwhelming to receive such an out pour of love from so many that I have never met. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. My family says thank you too as I have been informing them about the messages that were left.

My dad's wish of having a fireman's funeral was granted and it was a very beautiful service. So many turned out in support and love of my dad. Was a very heartbreaking time but on the flip side it was quite memorable. There were so many touching moments.

Hold your loved ones tight and always express just how much they mean to you. If anything that my dad's death has taught me is that you should never take life for granted. He truly loved life and even through his long illness he kept on living it the best way he could. A big smile always on his face.
