I spent a $100 just for a toothbrush

Posted 03-11-2008 at 06:00 PM by BonosBaby12
Never thought I would see the day where I would spend this much just for a toothbrush. Had to go to the dentist this morning to get a special cleaning to help my gums. After the cleaning the hygenist gave me a prescription rinse along with some instructions. Next thing I know Im being handed a box that contains an Oral B Triumph 9400 toothbrush. Dentist wants me to use it as part of my gum therapy. Due to all of my excitement about getting out of the chair I never once thought to ask how much this was costing me Made that discovery quickly after I paid for the cleaning and received my printout! Still checking this toothbrush now to see if it's made out of gold or something

I use a Sonicare Elite myself. My peridontist and my dentist recommend it.

It was pricey -- and so are the replacement brushes -- but I love it.

I have that one. Really good toothbrushes like that are usually worth it. Periodontal diseases tend to run in my family, and why I would like to spend my money on other things, they do make a difference and I suppose that is the most important thing.
