You may be gone but you are never forgotten

Hard to believe but June 23rd marks a year already since my dad's passing. Can remember all of the events that day quite clearly. The call from the doctor that morning saying that she felt the time was coming. This followed by a call from my youngest sister later that day to hurry and get to the hospital. Never will I forget watching him take his last breath. While it was very hard to bear I am happy that I could be with him for his final moments. How I wish he was still here today

I hope you are resting peacefully in heaven dad. We all miss you a lot but realize you are in a much better place Everyday you are thought of deeply.
