Relay For Life

Relay For Life® is an overnight event designed to bring together those who have been touched by cancer in the community. At the event, we celebrate survivorship and raise money to help the American Cancer Society in its mission to save lives, help those who have been touched by cancer, and empower individuals to fight back. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times. This is an annual event in our community. I participated last year for the full 24 hours, and have joined my ASB (Associated Student Body) class to do so again this year.

I am just posting this to let you know its there if you would like to make a donation. If you don't want to, that's fine, I totally understand and do not judge anyone.

How long is it going on for? Sounds like a great cause and I would love to donate something, but I need to wait until I get paid.

I believe the event takes place on 10/13-10/14

	Maddy, I didn't see this till today. I'm sorry! Are we still able to donate or has it closed since you guys had the race this past weekend?
