Karl turned 32 on Sunday, we were up north visiting my sister then so we had a belated celebration yesterday. I am horrible at giving gifts, I never have good ideas for what to give people. I was passing one of those mall perfume stores a few weeks ago, looked around, and the Bvlgari Black caught my eye.
Sources say this is Bono's cologne of choice so I thought, what the heck, Karl hasn't had a new cologne since before we got married, let's try something a little different. NOT so that I can fantasize that he is Bono or anything
SO I give it to him, and I wasn't going to tell him WHY I chose this one - but the first thing he says is, "Why'd you pick this? Is this the stuff Bono wears?

How he figured it out, I have no idea. Then he is back to his usual self today, kisses me as he's leaving for work - "Better watch out babe, I'm gonna be a chick magnet wearing this BULGARIA stuff!" I tried to correct him on the pronunciation but I think it's a lost cause - and I really don't think he's trying to be funny
