Maintenance Bastards

Posted 04-09-2008 at 08:14 AM by cruzila

the wooden floors in my apartment had buckled and maintenance people were called in. i was told that they were notified of my issue but was never informed by my landlord the day/days they were entering my apartment.

day one, a whole handful or 2 of quarters were missing. i keep a jar for laundry in my livingroom.

day two, a stack of CDs were missing. i don't catalogue my cds so i have NO idea what one's are gone.

oh yeah, in addition, the 2 times they were there i came home to a side table knocked over that had a rock fountain on it (now broken trash), a chair on the opposite side of the room (no where near the floor in which they needed to fix) and damage to my entertainment center.

Did your landlord ever ask if it was ok if anyone enter your apartment while you are not there? At my apartment building they always ask this whenever we call needing something to be repaired. Sometimes they arrive that day or typically the next day. Would have been nice if you had some clue when your apartment was going to be invaded!

Know I would be pretty damn pissed if I came home to my belongings missing and damage throughout the place

OH MY GOD..................see....this is why I always make sure we're near home or home when they have to come in. I'm totally not trusting of those people.
