Glad to know i am not alone..... i still have only bought one present so far.....Reece has contracted "parvo B19 virus" he has a scary rash everywhere and is very lethargic...the Dr says he will be out of action for a couple of weeks and he needs to return to the Dr's in one week so she can do a blood test as she suspects he has Glandular Fever also.....poor little man, he does not know what to do with himself....he is going to be so bored....he can't go to school (not because he is contagious....apparently he was before the rash comes out!) he just is too sick.... So he won't be returning to school until the new year!

Thanks guys....he has been OK, in fact i am sending Reece to school tomorrow just in time for his class Xmas party.....the rash has appeared to have cleared up and he seems to be happy and back to normal.
That's what i said about parvo....... "Parvo!?!...isnt that what dogs get!?!" The Dr says that Parvo B19 is totally a different thing to Canine Parvo, different symptoms and different outcomes....unfortunately just the same name, apparently it is often referred to as "slapped cheek" disease, but i have never heard anyone use that before either.
I have not heard from Michelle but she did invite me on facebook but i can't stand that thing, it freaks me out . I will send just a normal e-mail, i would like to catch up again in the holidays i have a few thurs/Fridays off during the school holidays. And i want to take the kids to Toronga, maybe we should make a day of it then?Posted 12-18-2007 at 05:35 AM by fly so high!
