I just came accross an article that said a justice in peace denied a interracial couple the right to get married in Louisiana. In this man's experience, interracial relationships rarely last...
WTF...are we still in the 1960's? Hmm...why not bring back segregated drinking fountains and bathroom. Heck, restaurants too!!! That seems fair and exciting!!!

Phil--it's sad that this mentality exists. My wife and I got some crap from a few so-called friends when we got engaged. We had some negative comments from both black and white friends. But the pastor who told us it would "probably be okay as long we didn't have children" really took the cake. And that was just 12 years ago!
