So I finally bought NLOTH on Thursday

But the new Church album arrived on Friday, so I still haven't listened to it. I haven't even removed the plastic wrap yet.
I find I have to be in the right mood to listen to new albums and although Thursday was a good time to buy the album (it was on sale, plus I had an extra 10%, plus I was actually at the store), it wasn't a good time to listen to it. There's just too much other stuff going on right now. But at least I have it now and one day will be the right day and I'll give it that initial listen.
Of course, it's always a good time to listen to a Church album!*
* actually there have been times when I have waited a while after buying a Church album before listening to it. Just depends on my mood.

I feel the same way about listening to albums. I wouldn't touch the new U2 until I was in the right mood. And I can only get used to something new driving around in my car. I was super foul when I listened to the download from U2. com. I almost hated all the songs, except for MOS. Now, after nearly a month, I hear the masterpiece. Thank goodness, I almost didn't get presale tix because of it.
I definitely agree!Posted 03-29-2009 at 08:03 AM by drumkeeran
