How I spent my Sunday afternoon..

My dad and stepmom were in town for a few days and the plan was to have lunch. Dad called and said "How about Banff?"
Me:
FINALLY! I've lived in Calgary for well over a year and not once made it up to the mountains - not even half an hour away. Sure, you can see them from here, but it's not the same. Either my friends have been going and I was too busy or I had time but no car and nobody going
It was a bit of a rainy day, so the mountains were beautiful and misty. I spent most of the car ride with my nose practically pressed up against the window, taking pictures with my phone. Top it all off with lunch at the historic Banff Springs Hotel and you've got one awesome day.
PS: I officially decided its time for a digital camera, lol.

Never fear, I have a digital camera, so all shenanigans this weekend shall be documented. Err... maybe I should leave it at home...
