i have two interviews today! they're with the same company but different locations in town, so i'm happy. they're both good jobs and really equally as far away so i'd be happy to get either one.
plus, i also got another call today for another place to set up an interview. i also got another call yesterday too and have been playing phone tag with them now, lol.
when it rains, it pours! though this time that's a good thing. after being jobless for almost the entire year it looks like i'm finally close to finding a job. i'm glad because bills are piling up and plus i kinda need to sponsor an immigrant so i need to show the government i'm not useless, lol.
on a related note, i've been kinda kicking around an idea in my head about all this wedding planning. originally the wedding was going to be in the us because of visa stuff, and all of een's family were going to have to fly in. now we're contemplating doing two small weddings, so no one needs to leave their country. the idea intrigues me, as i get to wear my awesome dress twice if we do this. so um yeah.
now i need to look into things in new zealand too i suppose.

thanks everyone
and yeah, i'm starting to think it might actually be cheaper to do two small ones, or at least be the same cost-wise, since airfare from nz to us is so damn expensive. but since it's also his family, i feel kinda guilty expecting his parents and such to take a 12 hour plane ride each way.Posted 10-22-2009 at 07:27 PM by KhanadaRhodes

the 2 smaller weddings is a great idea, and you can incorporate them as your honeymoon/s. not sure if the kiwis or you guys do registries, but a lot of people these days have money instead of presents. might help recover some costs, too. plus you'll get 2 seasons in your wedding day
i just thought of that. that's brilliant. summer/winter, autumn/spring combo! awesome
