Really Really Long Time

Posted 08-19-2006 at 12:16 PM by Mullen-Girl
Wow I was just looking back at my journal and it has been a very very long time since I posted in it.

Most of you know what has happened to me but for those of you who don't know...

The last couple of years has been hell for me. Last year I was really sick and my husband basically gave a shit that I was dying...It was basically a problem with my gall bladder which had to be removed and was ok.

Then I lost my job because of the fact that I missed work because of my gall bladder problem...then I found another job and was ok for awhile...

Then at the begining of this year I was let go of my job because my boss wasn't "happy" with the work I was doing or whatever...and then 2 weeks later I caught my husband cheating on me.

I would NOT wish that on anybody...that is the WORST thing I have ever gone through in my life. Hearing the person that you most love in the world tell you that he's going out with another person and that he DOESN'T LOVE you anymore...I felt like I had my heart ripped out. So basically we're legally separated and getting divorced.

Then when I moved back home I went to Mexico to get away for awhile and after a week of being there my cousin was in a Plane crash and was one of 2 out of 4 people that survived...that was hell as well...Seeing him in the hospital with 2nd and 3rd degree burns all over his body was torture for us...but thankfully at least he's alive. So I was in Mexico for 4 months watching his kids while he was in the hospital here in Texas...

I got back and found a job...and ended up losing that job a month later...bleh...but some good news...

I got reunited with my old best friend Audrey and we've been hanging out alot and been having lots of fun...she's moved to Austin so basically most weekends we hang out there at 6th St or 4th St...

Now i'm in pursuit of a job and I got accepted back into my university...

It's funny how much life can change in a span of less than 4 years

MG - don't wait years between entries, girl! Nice to see you back again...even if the circumstances haven't been good to you (I think I met you here in Dallas once) I'll keep you in my prayers for a new job and a better tomorrow. You're in Texas....? Why don't you come up and join us for the Vertigo USA show here in Dallas mid-September? :)

I'm sure that we can share moments of pain and glory in the gallbladder world; I was in pacreatic shock during the last episode; on ice for 3 days before it was removed and its been wonderful ever since...

I'm sorry to read about the other pain you've suffered; and I'm hoping for your cousin's full recovery...
