Worked half a day to leave early to the Laker game.
Met up with my friend in Ontario and had lunch at Chevy's...damn that place has the best chips and salsa.
Drove to Staples and got there very early, we wanted to look around and beat the traffic. Parking was $20 around the area, but only $5, four blocks away...so we walked.
Ended up looking around the Nokia center and the Grammy museum (I got some pics from the Grammy walk of fame with the band's name in them, i'll post them later) and stopped at the ESPN Zone to look around.
Had some ice cream and just chilled for a while looking at hundreds of people coming out of the Convention Center where they had just become citizens, they were holding the American flag and their certificate in their hands....it was nice to see all the different types of nationalities coming out from that building.
We ended up going into the building very early and we got to see a Defender's game....they are in the development division of the NBA?
We sat about 15 rows behind the Lakers bench. We got to see multiple personalities;
Kareem, Mitch Kupchak (Lakers GM), Joe Walsh (From the Eagles), Dyan Cannon, etc...but I got to talk to Magic Johnson and Lamar Odom.
We had a blast. If you ever go to see a game, section 118 is the best one.
I'll post pics later.
Good times.
