Today I went to see a grief counselor at the funeral home that my mother was laid out. It was good talking to someone in that field. I am dealing with a lot of emotions right now, and she said that it was only natural. She told me that losing the 2nd parent is so much harder to take. You feel like an orphan. Plus my 2 brothers and their families live out of state so I feel even more alone.
I will be going back to see the counselor on Tuesday. Also I will be going back to work tomorrow just for the afternoon to start with. I hope that I can get through the day.
