Rant time...

ok.. haven't posted in a while but tonite was a zinger for me..
Where do I start.. well while I am in Ireland my sister in law is home watching my 11 yr old son, dog and cat.. She can be 'sorta unreliable' sometimes.. Well let me get to the point.. I bought tix to Green Day at the Verizon Center in DC for tonite cuz my son is a HUGE FAN so I bought 3 tix with the intention of my SIL taking Liam to see them tonite along with my BIL. I call home about two hrs ago to hear from SIL that she is 'sick' and can't take him to the show.. Does she call me earlier in the day to tell me this so that maybe I could find someone else to take him? NO... Because now that her husband is working later she is conveniently sick. I am SO FUCKIN UPSET beyond words.. I scrambled and called a couple people but couldn't arrange it cuz it was TOO LAST MINUTE.. This would of been his first GD show and if we weren't in Ireland would be taking him.. And to top it off when I called back to talk to him about an hour ago she hadn't told him yet (less than 2 hrs before the show) so I did and boy
MY HEART ALMOST BROKE in two when I told him he got real quiet and I knew he was bummed.. I told him that if they come around again next year I will take him.. I am taking him to the U2 show in Sept in DC but GD is number 1 in his book so It's not the same..
/rant I guess... I know I won't be sleeping all that great tonite.. I can't wait to get home and give him a big hug tomorrow...

I appreciate her taking care of things at home but this is just so not right.. Even my BIL could of called too. That silence that I heard on the phone when I had to tell him the news had me up all nite practically. I kept replaying it over and over in my head. x infinity.
I actually think she had no intention of taking him or that she didn't want to go but didn't have the nerve to say anything to us. GRR.
