I liked watching this , but it also made me realize just how amazing Bono's vocals were on WOWY on Rattle & Hum dvd .

I didn't even make it halfway through the song because of the disappointing vocals

interesting showcase for people who complain about how the band's been performing this song on the last couple of tours
IMO U2 still do a darn good job on this one

Yea even though bono has had some difficulty with this song recently (it is not easy to sing after all but some of the vertigo performances were amazing check out any of the japan shows) he still does a better job that most can do including this young guy. It just makes u realize how good bono realy is when u watch a cover like this one. Bono has an elegance in his voice that few rock singers have.

even bono cant sing WOWY anymore . the last great performance was "R&H"
in the 80s and i dont see that changing. the worst was during the elevation shows.

u2 wrote a song that they, themselves can't cover. WOWY is beyond humanities musical landscape. i think they escaped the planet when they did that song.
