Jack White's Love Is Blindness on Radio 2 tonight

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I agree, and I think it would probably do really well on the radio. They brought out the bouncy and more playful aspects of the song.

Yup! Their cover is the only one I could see actually being on the radio right now....

....and I think if it was, everyone would think it's a new Fray song and completely overlook the fact that it is a cover of a much better U2 song.

1. So Cruel................................................... (Depeche Mode)
2. Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses............... (Garbage)
3. Acrobat................................................... (Glasvegas)
4. Ultraviolet (Light My Way)........................... (The Killers)
5. Tryin' to Throw Your Arms Around the World... (The Fray)
6. Zoo Station.............................................. (Nine Inch Nails)
7. Even Better than the Real Thing................... (Jacques Lu Cont Mix)
8. The Fly.................................................... (Gavin Friday)
9. Love is Blindness........................................ (Jack White)
10. One........................................................ (Damien Rice)
11. Until the End of the World........................... (Patti Smith)

That's my take on the rankings, after several listens.

This is almost identical to how i ranked them with the exception of the last place. I was ready to hate many but I was surprised how many I really enjoyed

Is there any other links? I tried to download the software on that link and it wouldn't work with my mac. If not could somebody email it to me? wolfQU2 @ gmail.com

I think this is the only reason I don't hate it. I wanted to. But I think by covering a song by a much better band, it's the first time they've actually recorded a half-decent song.

Fray is perhaps the only cover that has any replay value for me...and I don't give a shit what anyone thinks of the band. I know very little about them except they have had a radio hit or two.

and so what..

The only other two I enjoyed at all were Garbage and Jack Black. Damien Rice would have been decent if he had not screwed with the wording.

What did Jack Black cover? Squeezebox with Babyface playing in the background?

I tried to send my good bud B Flow a message last night.
