Local Time: 12:22 AM | A classic track from a classic album, simply stunning. Having said that, my favorite version is live recording from the War Child concert in 1995 ! |

Local Time: 01:22 AM | Can't resist voting for this one. A very solid 0 for this overrated POS. I would've given it higher, around a 3 or so, if it wasn't for that horrid cover they made of it and the godawful live performances since 1997. |

Local Time: 07:22 PM | So far, One is looking at a 7.63. Guess you guys had to make up for AIWIY's 9.33 somehow. |

Local Time: 06:22 PM | i absolutely hate this song. i'm shocked that anyone thinks anyone who's giving this a low rating is doing so for any reason other than they don't like it. funny, i don't recall anyone saying this for any other of their songs. it's not like there's ever been any threads discussing how much people don't like this song.

Local Time: 07:22 PM | To me, Beautiful Day (which I adore), COBL (which I also adore), Miracle Drug, and Crazy Tonight qualify as U2-by-numbers. One doesn't sound any fucking thing like those. |

i have no problem with the people that hate it either. i guess it's their choice. i think it's weird that anyone could hate the song, but oh well. funny that a song called "One" tears apart the U2 fan base. ps. 65980, if you find your attitude constantly being questioned, whether you think you're right or wrong, it's never a bad idea to at least look in the mirror and ask yourself why this might be happening. not a dig or anything, just a kind suggestion from someone who's done the same. ![]()

Local Time: 06:22 PM | I totally agree, except I dislike all those songs including BD and COBL - mainly because they ARE bland, boring, U2-by-the-numbers. |

Local Time: 01:22 AM | Add Magnificent to U2-by-numbers songs, next to COBL. |

Except I'd swap IGCIIDGCT for Pride. To me, Pride was the standard by which many other U2-by-the-numbers songs are graded against. I think IGCIIDGCT has just enough of its own identity to not quite make the U2-by-the-numbers category. Miracle Drug may as well be titled Pride Part II (slowed-down version). ![]()
