"BAD" Lyrics?

So I find myself now in a state of confusion over the lyrics to bad.

"To let it go and so to fade away" seems to be the correct lyrics to the song, it is on every lyric site, and bono has sung those lyrics quite clearly live and on the album...

yet...

on the official u2.com lyrics it says: "to let it go and so to find a way"

U2.com > Lyrics : Bad

so, which is it?

Actually it's worse than that. They have the lyric as "to let it go and so to find away".

Find away? That ain't English good.

I have an officially released book of the Best Of 80-90 notation and tab, and it has "fade away".

I was always sure he repeats "not fade away" numorius times live (see Boston DVD), as a matter of fact I wanted to get a licence plate that said "NOTFDAWY" (or something like that), but its not listed as an official lyric, so alas I didn't go with it.

It sounds like he sings "find a way" on the studio-version, but it's probably just a little Irish accent. He clearly sings "fade away" every other time and that should be the correct one. U2.com were probably just mistaken just like I was before I heard the live version and looked at the lyrics.
