The "Guess-the-lyric-in-a-different-language" game

Dunno if this has been done before, but I love these things, we do it elsewhere.

Basic premise is you put in a u2 lyric at Google Translate and then translate it back into english.

When posed with a lyric in a different language, you can either (or both preferably) try and guess the what the lyric is and then translate it back to english, to see the literal translation.

Hilarity on some occasions.

So, for example, if I put in "she will suffer the needle chill, she's running to stand still" into the google translator, it returns in english as "it will chill the needle, you are running stop".

So let's have a go, ay??

Oh non dolore, non non piangere, per oggi, finalmente, sono venuta a casa

I'm guessing that's the last line of A Sort of Homecoming:

Oh don't sorrow, no don't weep, for tonight, at last, I am coming home

It looks like Italian. I also comprehended it, without even trying to translate it.

How to kill a thread: Move it to the Musical Journey forum. COBL_04 probably forgot about this thread.

i like how the index page cuts it off so the title is "the..."

someone should make a thread with that title.

No wonder there are so few replies to this subject.

Why should you possible come into a thread that is titled: "the ..."?

But we did have a game like this once before, accept what you did was put it in google translator, and translate it back, and post the confused jumbled sentence.
