See the stone set in your eyes

Bah! What does it have to do with the rest of the song? It totally changes the atmosphere of it too

There's some storm/eye action in RTSS, so it would fit in with that too...

In Exit, I used to think it was "the dark started crying, like a broken-hearted man", instead of "a dog" or whatever it is... but I like the dark crying better!

Bono really should consult us before he writes these songs...

The line

"Take my shirt, go on take it off me "

from Do you feel loved.

I always hear it as

"take my sugar, take my coffee."

I thought the line in Love is Blindness went: "Won't you wrap the knife around me?". Sounded like pretty cool imagery to me

I admit to consistently hearing "A prizefighter in a corner is told" from Silver and Gold as "A glass spider in a cornerless hole." Yes, I realize it makes no sense, but it's totally what the syllables sound like!

For quite some time I wondered why Bono was singing a song about an Electric Toaster.

Then I found out it was Electrical Storm!

As stated in that thread, I too thought it was Shazbot

Also, in Ultraviolet I always used to think it was "Your love was a life boat haning over my bed" but...it's not It's "Your love was a light bulb Hanging over my bed"

The first time I heard "I Will Follow" I sung the chorus as:

"wakkawayakooway wakkawayakooway"

From 'Spieces' i always heard it as:
Baby slow down, the end is not as far as the stars

Which i think is a better line, if i do say so myself
