Edge radio interview tomorrow - sorry if this has been posted...

Edge is being interviewed on BBC6 this Sunday:

BBC - 6 Music - U2 defend their footprint

(To hear the full interview with The Edge tune into the Music Week show this Sunday on 6 Music from 1pm).

Though it doesn't say anything about an interview with Edge on the site of the show:

BBC - BBC 6 Music Programmes - The Music Week, 16/08/2009

(NEXT ON:
Tomorrow, 13:00 on BBC 6 Music
SYNOPSIS
6 Music's resident music journalist supremos, Julie Cullen and Matt Everitt, analyse the biggest stories and keep an ear across the most important new releases.
This week's show features Noah And The Whale and Julian Plenti, aka Interpol singer Paul Banks, who's been playing sets under this pseudonym for a while and talks to the Music Week about his debut solo album).

Thanks for the link. Nice interview with Edge. Just annoying that British media generally just don't seem to get the current album.

Ugh, you're right I guess.
Just listened to it. Nice interview.
But that idiot said, "Some of the new stuff just doesn't fit in a large arena like Wembley." WTF dude?!
And it's not even an arena. Stadium.

Thanks for the link. I love Edge's voice...so smooth. In regard to the male DJ, he's entitled to his opinion. One can tell that he's not really a rabid U2 fan and most casual fans I'm sure relate more to the older stuff. No worries though. There are plenty of real U2 fans around. By most accounts, the new material DOES translate very well to stadiums, so take his comments with a grain of salt.
