U2 Sims

I've been hunting around for a thread like this, but the only few I found were from '03 :ohmy:

I'd just like to share some U2 sims stories and pics. A while ago, I started on a 'House Full Of Bonos' project, where I basically made a Bono from nearly every U2 era and stuck them in a house together, along with Macphisto, Fly and Mirrorball. It's safe to say it was a helluva lot of fun to play and watch :lol:

Macphisto was my personal favourite :wink:

I have a huge folder with tons of u2 sims pics, I'll have to go through them sometime. So, does anyone else have any U2 sims?

That's a cool hairstyle on Bono! I always struggle with finding the correct hairstyle for my Bono-sim, and having to find/download different hair for all the different eras I made was just :crack:

I found my Mirrorball and Fly sims, Mirrorball looks a bit odd :huh:

I've just started joining in the fun with sims. I bought a game on Friday but I got stuck with the noses. I was trying to design myself. If I put a button nose it would be an inaccurate reflection, but then when I was trying to adjust it so it was more like me my SIM got hideous :depressed:

. "Hey I don't look that bad" I shrieked and shook my wrist at the screen. Up until then I actually pretty hot as a sim :lol:

I know the downloading takes ages, or you need to sign up for dozens of sites...
I'm still trying to find the perfect goatee for Edge becuase it seems none existent. :lol:

I am also guilty of creating U2 Sims. Only I'm playing on the XBox 360, so I don't have any pictures.

I want to know more of this House of Bonos and how you work that out, logistically.

LOL I don´t play sims but I do play social sims, I created an alter sim with glasses, black hair and it is called single rockstar (any similarity with the real thing is not casual

Yeah , I dont have chest hair for my sims... I tried to download a patch but it didn't work... And Bono and Edge are addicted to working out. that Bono (my 1st one, I now have a diff. ) was like , UBER buff.
Butt it was that or making them look fat (in the wrong places.. It just looked not bonoish... , or skinny. And buff just looked best. :wink:

Well, there's not much more to it than making a load of Bonos, dressing them up according to their assigned era, and shoving them in a huge house. It's not accurate at all. :lol:

I just did it as a result of extreme boredom and lack of creativity.

Mine for some reason wanted to play Guitar until he was exhausted! I had to stop him to sleep, and he got mad at me!

Here are mine. Though they don't exist anymore it was fun while it lasted. :wink:

My Edge took his beanie off when working out.

And he enjoyed massaging Bono. :wink:

These are my daughters from a couple years ago. They were made with just a regular sims game, no patches or anything, but I thought they were still pretty good!

I like Bono's freckles.

Bono and Adam watch TV

Edge plays catch, and paints. (Also please note his Product (RED) laces in his Converse.)

and comes home from a bad day at the laboratory

Bono plays guitar

Edge reads in bed

Larry makes sure everyone stays in shape

And Larry is sad because no one came to his tofu-dog barbeque.

This was years ago that I played the Sims, so no pics, but whenever I hear about U2 Sims, I always remember poor Sim Larry *sniff* :lol:

I love playing Sims but the thought of making a U2 house had never occured to me... :hmm:

all my characters end up suspiciously similar to me or an alter ego :lol:

WOW, Bono looks AWESOME!! I always gave up quickly with the Sims, but I made a great Daniel Plainview (There Will Be Blood) and a pretty accurate Thom Yorke.

Yeah she did spend some time picking out the perfect combinations of everything for him. (Face structure, nose shape, etc... ) It is actually pretty fun building a Bono.

After they went to Shang Simla for Larry's job, all 4 of them ended up learning the martial arts skill. This was a big mistake, as soon as they got back to sunset valley, they just kept sparring with each other and it just got unbelievably irritating :crack:

but there was one interesting sparring match where Larry glitched and got his foot stuck in Bono's head. :yikes:
