Local Time: 12:22 AM | Yet ANOTHER bass for Adam. Seems he's taken to using the Epiphone JCB-1 Jack Casady bass for Mysterious Ways. ![]() |

Local Time: 12:22 AM | If not the Jack Casady... could be the Gibson Les Paul bass. Gibson Les Paul Signature Bass More likely the Gibson. I need a bit of a closer up picture. Anyone have one? |

Local Time: 12:22 AM | I am convinced that Adam beat Edge in a card game and the winnings were LOTS of new bass guitars and amps. That said... I did a bit more snooping around and it seems more likely that the bass in question is the GIBSON LES PAUL SIGNATURE bass and not the JACK CASADY. I found this advert (below) and the bass and all the knobs and such match up to what is on Adam's. And with a closer look at the pic of Adam's, I don't see and Epiphone "E" on the pick guard. ![]() ![]() The Jack Casady with the "E" pictured below ![]() So no "E" on Adam's leads me to believe that it is indeed a Gibson Les Paul Signature bass and not the Epiphone Jack Casady. |

Local Time: 12:22 AM | "Don't hate, Don't HATE". ![]() Adam is a big boy and can use as many as he wants. Is Adam using more basses? Yes. Why? Because he can. Is Edge making less guitar changes? Yes. Why? Because the rack is UNDER the stage. Dallas is making all the 'fine' adjustments and he's also doing a lot of the switching from underneath, as Edge isn't always in the 'command central' part in the front of the stage. Busier Dallas means less time for tuning and prepping. And as Edge is all over the place on the stage (the whole 360 and all) Dallas would have to run all over to get him the next guitar. Adam moves around too but a bit less than Edge. Hence, easier for Stuart to get the next bass out to Adam. |

Local Time: 12:22 AM | Yes he is using more... and using a lot that he's not used on stage in the past. AND there are NO Laklands to be seen anywhere. (So far) He's not just using Bass "A" always for song "1". He has switched some things up some. Here are some of what Adam's using... from the top of my head:

Local Time: 06:22 PM | No, I was wondering whether Adam is not using more guitars than Edge, who is famous for switching guitars. |

Epiphone Casino (Breathe, No Line..) Fender Telecaster blonde (GOYB, Vertigo, Crazy remix) Gretsch country gentleman (magnificent, COBL) Gibson Explorer (Beautiful Day, IALW, AOH) Gibson SG (Elevation) Gibson Les Paul Music Rising (One, New Year's Day) Gibson Les Paul goldtop (UTEOTW) Gibson Les Paul cream (Unknown Caller, Walk On) Fender Telecaster natural (TUF) Fender Stratocaster sunburst (SBS, Pride) Fender Stratocaster black (Streets) Fender Stratocaster black and white (Bad, I still haven't found) Fernandes Retrorocket black and white (UV) Fernandes Retrorocket Black/sparkle (WOWY) Rickenbacker 360/12 for Mysterious Ways And I don't remember the MOS guitar. Nor have I take all guitars in account here, for songs only played a few times. So yeah, Edge still wins. ![]() I don't know shit about acoustics, all I know there's a natural finish(Stuck) and a black/sunburst(Stay, Desire) one. And the rumoured 12 string, ofcourse. Were they Taylor/washburns? I remember something like that. I'm compiling a list and miss a few guitars/basses. Desire, both. The sunburst/blackish acoustic for Edge. I know Adam's using a gold sparkle, but can't find wether it's a precision or jazz from the vids(since he's turned around). Party Girl? Electrical Storm, what did Edge play? IALW, what did Adam play? Can't find good video to see. All focus on Bono and Edge.

There was a 12-string acoustic that was in some pics from the rehearsals. It 'appears' to be a Martin but I am not certain. I am pretty certain it isn't a Washburn and fairly certain that it isn't a Taylor. |

And Edge did get the LP Custom back. After auction, Guitar Center had a travelling display of that, two of Claptons guitars and one of Stevie Ray Vaughn's. I went and took TONS of pictures of Edge's LP Custom. I compared the nicked and dings in the finish to pics of the white LP Custom and it's dead on. There is a gouge in the lower bit near the guitar cable input. Saw the same big gouge in U2:360 pics.

Local Time: 01:22 AM | Can't edit the posts anymore, but for Bad in A'dam and Dublin I he used the red Precision. In Dublin III I think it was a Jazz. |
