No - I'm too old for hanging out in the bars, too poor for shopping in the antique stores, too unhip for the salons, and too large for the boutique clothing so I don't get downtown much.

Where in Raleigh do you live? I go up to see my best friend several times a year & she lives out towards Louisburg. Outer Loop to Capital Blvd to 511 (I think - I don't pay attention to the street names/numbers after I leave Capital!)

There's a Mexican restaurant in Cary my friend likes... She took me there once & it was really good food. I remember that it was actually below street level but I couldn't tell you the name of it for anything.

Yeah, and some of them are really good. We have a couple of El Cerro Grande locations here in town that I can only go to once every 2-3 months - because their guacamole is divine! I'd eat it 'til I turned green if somebody didn't stop me!
