I don't really know what this is. It just came out. I haven't written much lately, so I figured I'd post it anyway.

Sometimes it feels as though I'm drifting without gravity
Twisting and turning through invisible columns of air
What is why and where exactly am I

I've forgotten how to breathe
But it doesn't seem to bother me
This slow motion existence is never-ending
The chamber in my chest releases

My heart escapes

I make a grab for it but it simply falls

But I do not fear, for my spirit will carry me
Keep me afloat, in this uncomfortable state
It's not perfect
But it, I will take
