Three Chords and the Truth and Even Better Than The Real Thing ??

Is it time to merge these forums yet?

About half of the threads on the first page in the Three Chords and the Truth forum belong in the Even Better Than The Real Thing forum...

I still don't see the need for 2 seperate forums, especially when threads are in the wrong place anyway.

Ok I saw a lot of the threads have been moved, but I have another question.

Are we even allowed to post tabs anymore? I thought it was a copywrite infringement which is why the guitar archive got shut down. And if we aren't allowed to post tabs, why even have a tab forum? It would be like having a forum for posting mp3 links even though we are not allowed to do that.

but following that logic, we wouldnt be allowed to post lyrics either, and we couldnt discuss u2's songs at all anymore...

I still stand by my opinion I posted there, but it's probably still a "no" from Elvis. I'll leave this thread open for now though.

If you're discussing tabs, yah its fine. It's a similar use as editorial or educational.
