The last pair of shoes I bought (previous page) were for a formal. I was crippled by the end of the night, I still don't know how I managed to get home in them.

Flats are the best but I can't resist wearing a pretty pair of heels from time to time.

Ever since I fell in those wedges, heels have made me nervous.

However...

I almost fell AGAIN in that SAME parking lot...while wearing flats!!!!!! There was a little chunk out of some of the asphalt, and I stepped on the edge of it, and my foot slipped...but at least I caught myself this time.

Do I need to just stay home or remain seated at all times or something???

You sound like me, BC Not the most graceful of creatures, heels or no heels.. I say we start a support group for the gravity-impaired.

Excellent! I will totally join! I trip over my feet on an almost daily basis - heels or no heels.

BC - I must say I love the quote in your sig today. I would love to see slam dancing at a wedding!

Me too. If she ever gets married, I'm crashing her wedding.

people tripping is one of the funniest things ever, especially when they get all pissed and look for a crack in the footpath or something

I tidied and discovered a grand total of 11 pairs of Chuck Taylors. . . . . .

So I got a few pairs of shoes today. No heels!

And these are peep toe with a sparkly jewel thing on top. They do look a bit mental but they are really pretty with jeans. There were only 2 pairs left and luckily they were in my size.

And they only cost £4/£6 each. Primark.

I'm told that these are selling well in the midwest U.S., with all of the flooding.

I don't know--the picture was just in an e-mail that I received from a friend.
