Mitch Mitchell passes away

Rock has lost a true legend. I may have grown up in the 90's, but I grew up on Hendrix. Mitch Mitchell's drums are forever in my heart.

I hope U2 pays some tribute to him on the next tour with that "Cedars of Lebanon" song that Lanois said has Mitch Mitchell drum influences.

Fuck, seriously? He was supposed to come speak at our school...we have a Hendrix class here. Man. He really was an absolutely stunning drummer.

I am going to take a close listen to his stuff. It's sad hearing when a talent like this passes away.
