You can't judge them if you haven't heard them.

I've consistently offered the entire time to send a zip file containing every single one of these b-sides to anyone who requested it.

This weighting system was implemented after there were complaints in previous survivors that great songs were being left behind before the final, where the second or third best song on album x might be better than the best song on album y. This logic extends to the b-sides. You never know, there could be a b-side that some people like better than certain album tracks. The spirit of these survivors is to delve into a band's catalog, all of it. I had hoped that people who hadn't heard the b-sides would hear them for the first time and then vote accordingly. Sadly, it appears more people are interested in complaining about them than about listening to them and having fun with it.

And I'm not judging them, hence what I said in my post.

The weighing system makes sense, but I just think the ratio of A-sides to B-sides (8:7) is really odd, even if there are B-sides that are better than A-sides.

Even for U2, a band that has had some great B-sides ... if there were 16 A-sides in a final draw, I'd say there should be, accordingly, 4 B-sides at most.
