I hate putting Easy Tiger and RnR so low but something had to fill those slots. I still like ET, and listen to RnR quite a bit, although not as much as when I first got it. But 'So Alive' I still probably listen to once a day.

I love 29, it's just that as an album as a whole, it's not one I'd toss in the car and introduce Ryan to a friend.

It's a self indulgent album, which in Ryan's case actually works, but only for big fans.

I'm still too much of a Ryan newbie to grasp the breadth and depth of the entire career, but this is definitely one of my serious new loves of 2007 (of which I have way too many).

When my Ryan hunger ran deep yesterday after writing my everybodyfields piece for the main page (Ryan fans should all check out this band, btw), I chose this Ryanlist to play on my 'puter to absorb while getting clean and ready for my sweetie to arrive:

I think i may be the only person
who just doesn't get/appreciate/like
the song "Two". It's so generic, there's no feeling in it, the lyrics fall flat and don't conjure up anything real or honest... like something Maroon 5 would write.

It's not quite that bad, but it's not great. Especially sandwiched between "Goodnight Rose" and "Everybody Knows."
