I haven't shared the link to the one I go to because I don't know if I'd consider it a good board for an outside Ryan fan to jump into, to be honest. Our old board got shut down (thanks, Ryan), so we're at this new, slightly-but-not-very-well-disguised one. There's a lot of perverted and childish discussion, and some people are just kind of mean. I don't even go there while I'm at work anymore because some of the stuff posted is just too gross. I keep going there because it is a good Ryan source, but you have to be willing to weed through tons of junk. There are also lots of people there that I've come to know over the years that I really like, so I go to chat with them. New people tend to feel alienated though.

I was just over on Amazon pre-ordering the new Wilco album, and this album was one of the ones it recommended. Strangely enough, it seems Stephen King is backing it. From their "product description" section:

The performance of "Goodbye Rose" on the Henry Rollins show was awesome, I do wonder if the jam will go on that long on the record. I know the Cardinals are the backing bad, but they're not credited. Since it's billed as a solo album, I'm doubting the jam is there, but still.

RYAN ADAMS WILL NOT BE PLAYING GUITAR THIS WEEK

Without going into all the gory details, let’s just say it’s got to do with a skateboard, a 12-foot bowl, and a now-torn ligament. This is NOT anywhere near as bad as the Liverpool accident from a few years back, though...Ryan expects to be playing guitar again soon.

For now, enjoy Neal Casal playing an excellent (if right-handed) Iommi to Ryan’s lighter-weight-and-fringeless Ozzy.
