It would be so much better at the top of the page, instead of right below the Navbar. Now my coordination with the site is messed up until I get used to it.

Let me get this straight. You are trying to convince guests to join Interference so they won't deal with these big ads even though when logged in you still see ads?
I'm not sure that is going to get more people to join the site. If anything those giants ads and the pop-ups will scare people away. |

That's what it's all about. Premiums pay extra for pretty much nothing now.

The least that could be done would be giving the premiums something for theirmoney... aka fuck off with the adverts!
or return it to the way it was.

In an effort to bring more value to all of our members the set of features were expanded. All Premium members were given an extra 6 month upgrade at the same time. I spent a tremendous amount of money on programmers and software upgrades, servers and other things to upgrade Interference which are all part of a plan to get our community modernized. It costs lots of money to host a site this size and right now Interference is loosing money. The ads are a necessary evil to help support a community of this size.
All I did was move the ad down about 1.5" on the screen. I hear you that you all don't like them but I ask you to please be patient and that your point has been noted.

When you are viewing the main page of a forum, and you scroll down to the bottom where the Forum Jump dropdown menu is...there is no space between the bottom of that menu and the ad. I realize it's a nitpicky thing, but it bugs me.
If I'm viewing a thread, and I scroll down to that menu, there is a space between the Forum Jump and the ad. It looks a lot nicer that way.

Bonochick,
Thanks for pointing that out. It's fixed now.

I have ads at the bottom of the page now, too.

![]() well isn't this lovely. Can I assume this is why random words in posts now also highlight and pop up lovely little ads too? ![]() I'm not trying to be snarky, honest. I took the new google ads with good humour. Hey, they could prove amusing. This? I can't always sign in here, sometimes I'm at school....so now I have to be barraged with this stuff? Or not come here at all? ![]() It's almost funny tho, I kept thinking I had done something wacky to my browser, I didn't even initially consider it being a new "feature". And in attempt to offer something constructive, if I wasn't already a member, and I came across this, and was hit up with ads like that, I wouldn't stick around. I'm not sure this is really the best way to drum up interest in the site...
