I don't think that we'll see a sales explosion for Bomb, the album sold almost 3 million now and who knows how many downloads.
I say that it will sell steady on the lower part of the chart for a while.

The only way we'd see a "sales explosion" for HTDAAB is if it actually won the "Album of the Year" award and U2 gave a great performance. I think that combination would sky-rocket "Bomb" way back up the charts. I'm not sure it would re-enter the Top 10, as ATYCLB did in 2002 after it won 4 more Grammy Awards, but surely HTDAAB would make a huge leap - perhaps Top 20 or 30.

Then again, ATYCLB already had a push from "Stuck..." in Sept. '01, a Christmas push in Dec. '01, then a Super Bowl push in early Feb. '02. After the Super Bowl, ATYCLB was already floating around #25. By Grammy time, it was easy for ATYCLB to make the leap to the Top 10. So I agree with Soldatti, I don't think the album will make any huge leaps - UNLESS, it wins "Album of the Year".

Well, her new album has not sold as much as the BOMB worldwide and she doesn't even attempt to tour because she struggles to fill arena's in even the biggest cities.

I think there is a fighting chance bomb will be album of the year, but U2 is bound to win at least a couple grammys, which will get the album rolling again probably back into the top 100 fairly soon.
