I did not think it would happen but it did!

Thanks for the updated results SOLDATTI!

Also interesting to find out that in the 12 weeks that BOMB was off of the Billboard 200, it sold an average of 4,398 copies per week, which means it was just slightly below the top 200.

Another interesting point is that the album is likely to do better next week as well, as the 60 minutes TV program will take effect then!

That's a great news!
We can also see that bomb has sold, during the twelwe weeks out of BB200, 52.773 copies, which it means an average of 4.397 copies/week.

Soldatti,
The Soundscan entries also usually state what the sales were the week prior (and the percentage change with this week's sales). So do you then also know what last week's sales were?

Wow ! So beLIEve was right that it would re-enter...great news & strange coincidance that # 196 is the same re-entry position as in UK (3 weeks ago).

I guess it could well now get to the 3M (Soundscan only) mark.

That's great news. I hope that it will stay in the BB 200 for more than only one week as it was the case for UK.

I'm sure now that the album will reach the 3 million mark.

Bono has said several times that a sales goal is for a U2 album to survive through two Christmas seasons. If Bomb is back in the Top 200 and gets a holiday boost, we might just see that! Then, if there's a push from the video iPod, the DVD, "60 Minutes", the Grammy's, a new single, etc., it might - dare I say it? - even re-enter the Top 100! This could really occur if the album actually won Album of the Year!

grammy nominations are out on 8th of december, so hopefully a load of nominations and a boost up the BB200 lasting through till the grammys, then hopefully an 'album of the year' win, that would surely put bomb back in the top 10! ?

Bomb may be able to climb back into the Top 10 provided U2 gains a lot of national exposure - like they did back when they were on the Super Bowl and Grammy Awards (and won 4 Grammies) in 2002. Bomb has a long way to climb, but it is possible - especially if U2 had a single catch on. The fickle U.S. audience is hard to predict. U2 have had hit songs that I never thought would succeed, while songs I thought were guaranteed Top 40 material never went far.

Strange to see that the album was #150 in week 39 with sales of 6,835. While now it sold 6,765 and it's on #196.

But, good news!
